2. Information We Collect
2.1. Information You Provide Voluntarily
The App includes a “Contact Us” form, which allows users to get in touch. This form collects:
- Name
- Email address
- Message content
This information is sent to us by email and used solely for support and feedback. We do not sell it or disclose it to third parties for marketing. It may be processed by email and technical service providers that are necessary to deliver and manage support communications, and may be disclosed where required by law.
2.2. Automatically Collected Information
We do not directly collect analytics or track your behavior inside the App.
However, we use third-party services provided by Google, which may automatically collect certain technical and diagnostic information from your device to support advertising and app stability:
1. Google AdMob (Advertising SDK)
AdMob is used to serve ads within the app and may automatically collect data such as:
- Device type, language, screen size, and OS version
- App interactions (e.g., ad impressions, ad clicks, video views, ad dismissals)
- Diagnostic and performance data related to ads (e.g., ad load failures, latency)
- Anonymous identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID, App Set ID)
This data is used by Google for:
- Advertising and marketing — to display and optimize ads
- Analytics — to measure ad performance and engagement
- Fraud prevention and security — to detect invalid traffic or suspicious activity
We do not receive personal data like Advertising IDs or IP addresses. However, we may access aggregated reports from AdMob (such as ad revenue, impressions, and general device trends) to help understand ad performance in the app.
Learn more about AdMob’s data practices here: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
2. Google Play (Android Vitals and Crash Reporting)
Google Play collects diagnostic and crash-related data from your device to help developers maintain and improve app quality. This includes:
- Crash logs and stack traces
- App Not Responding (ANR) events
- Device model, OS version, and screen configuration
- Memory usage, app start time, and battery-related metrics
This data is collected automatically and shared with us through the Google Play Console and Developer Reporting APIs. It is only used to monitor technical issues, performance trends, and app reliability.
We do not receive any personally identifiable information from this data.
3. How Your Information Is Used
- To respond to inquiries sent via the Contact Us form
- To display non-personalized or personalized ads, depending on your device preferences
- To ensure compliance with legal or regulatory obligations
We do not sell the information you submit to us, and we do not use it for profiling. Advertising-related processing by Google AdMob is described above.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR – European Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data under the following lawful bases:
- Consent – where required for advertising-related storage or access, including personalized advertising.
- Legitimate interests – to respond to support requests and for App security, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and operation where this basis is permitted by law.
5. Ad Policy and Consent
We use Google AdMob to serve ads. Users may see personalized or non-personalized ads depending on their device settings and location.
- You can opt out of ad personalization via your device settings (e.g., "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).
- If required by applicable law (e.g., in the EEA), we rely on Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) or equivalent to obtain and manage user consent.
6. Data Retention
We retain information received through the Contact Us form only as long as needed to address your request or concern. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 14.
AdMob’s data retention is governed by Google’s privacy policies.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect any personal information submitted through the App. These include:
- Encryption in Transit: Data sent through the in-app 'Contact Us' form is transmitted over secure channels using TLS (Transport Layer Security).
- Secure Storage: User inquiries are stored in secure email systems with industry-standard protections.
- Organizational Controls: Access to support emails is restricted to authorized personnel, with policies in place for protection and response.
Although no system can be 100% secure, we continuously evaluate and improve our security practices to reduce risk and protect user trust.
8. Disclosure to Legal Authorities
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request. Such disclosures will be limited to what is legally necessary and handled with care.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed or stored outside your country of residence, including in the United States.
When we transfer data from the EEA or other regions with data protection laws, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other legally valid transfer mechanisms.
10. No Medical, Health, or Farming Advice
The content in Lune (including Health, Wellness, Sleep, Mental State, Skin, Hair, Nail, Hormones, and Farming Tips) is for informational and entertainment purposes only.
