Weissenburg Dev (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the FactureMate mobile application (the “App”) handles information. FactureMate helps self‑employed professionals and small businesses create and manage invoices and quotes.

1. About the App

FactureMate enables users to create, store, and manage invoices and quotes directly on their Android device. The App is designed to work offline, and your billing data remains on your device only unless you actively choose to export or share it.

  • Create professional invoices and quotes
  • Save client records for faster document creation
  • Include business identifiers such as VAT number, SIREN, IBAN, and a business logo
  • Export or share documents as PDF via email or messaging apps
  • Display advertisements using Google AdMob, in accordance with local consent requirements

FactureMate does not require an account, does not sync or back up data to the cloud, and does not transmit invoice, quote, or client data to Weissenburg Dev.

2. Information Processed by the App and Advertising Services

2.1 Information processed locally on your device

To use the App’s core features, you may enter the following data to generate invoices and quotes:

  • Personal details: name, email address, phone number, mailing address
  • Business details: company name, VAT number, SIREN or other registration number, business logo
  • Financial details: IBAN or bank account references for payment instructions
  • Client details: client names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, client VAT numbers or identifiers

This information is stored locally on your device and remains under your full control. We do not upload this data to our servers or any cloud service.

Weissenburg Dev does not receive this data.

2.2 Automatically Collected Data (Advertising)

The App integrates Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), approximate location (non‑precise), and ad interaction/performance data to deliver, limit frequency, and measure ads.

For details on the types of data, purposes, and retention used for ads, see the AdMob section below and Google’s privacy documentation.

Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to display ads in the App.

  • Types of data processed by AdMob: device identifiers, approximate location, ad interactions and performance data
  • Purposes: to deliver personalized or non‑personalized ads, limit ad frequency, and measure performance
  • Choices: select non‑personalized ads in supported regions and opt out of ad personalization via device settings
  • Transfers: Google may process ad data outside your country under appropriate safeguards

How AdMob Data Is Used

  • To deliver and measure ads in the App
  • To respect your choices for personalized or non‑personalized ads
  • To comply with applicable consent requirements

Google Play Data Safety Summary

FactureMate processes invoice and client data locally on your device. Advertising data is handled by Google AdMob.

  • Personal info, business info, and financial references are processed locally for App functionality
  • AdMob may process device identifiers, approximate location, and ad interactions for advertising and measurement
  • Data sent to AdMob is encrypted in transit
  • Users can opt out of ads personalization via in‑App controls or device settings

We do not transmit your invoice, quote, or client content to our servers.

For more details, see the Data Safety section on our Google Play listing.

3. How We Use Information

We never use your invoice, quote, or client data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.

  • App functionality: generate invoices/quotes, store records locally, and enable exports or shares that you initiate
  • Customer support: respond to inquiries you send to us (if you contact us)
  • Advertising: display personalized or non‑personalized ads depending on your choices and local legal requirements

4. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR/UK GDPR)

  • Contract or steps requested by you – for the App’s core invoicing and quoting functions that you choose to use on your device.
  • Consent – where required for advertising-related storage or access and for personalized advertising.
  • Legitimate interests – for App security, diagnostics, fraud prevention, and other processing where this basis is permitted by law.

Advertising delivery and measurement may rely on consent or another lawful basis depending on your region and the specific processing performed by Google.

Where consent is required, you can withdraw it at any time in the App or via your device settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal.

5. Your Choices and Consent

In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, the App presents a consent dialog on first launch so you can choose between personalized and non‑personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time in App settings or your device’s ad settings.

  • Ad Personalization: enable or disable personalized ads via the in‑App consent prompt or device settings
  • Device Controls: on Android, you can reset the Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization
  • Export/Sharing: when you share a PDF or invoice via email or cloud services, their privacy policies apply

Where required by local law, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) or an equivalent framework to obtain and record consent.

6. Data Sharing

Weissenburg Dev does not receive, transmit, or share your invoices, quotes, or client data.

Advertising data related to AdMob may be shared with Google and its advertising partners to serve and measure ads in line with your choices.

7. Security

Local App data benefits from your device’s operating system protections (e.g., encryption, screen lock, biometric authentication if enabled).

  • Encryption in transit for ad traffic (HTTPS/TLS)
  • Use a secure device lock or biometrics
  • Keep your operating system up to date
  • We do not remote‑store your billing data

Data exchanged with AdMob is encrypted in transit. We recommend keeping your device updated and secured.

8. International Data Transfers

AdMob may process advertising‑related data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, Google relies on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EEA/UK transfers.

9. Data Retention

Local App data (invoices, quotes, clients) is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.

AdMob retains advertising‑related data according to Google’s policies.

10. Children’s Privacy

FactureMate is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will assist in its removal.

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your information.

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct or update inaccurate details
  • Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Export or transfer your data (data portability)
  • Withdraw or change consent to advertising
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise rights regarding AdMob data, use Google’s privacy tools or ads settings. For App data, you can delete it in‑App or by uninstalling.

12. Managing Preferences and Requests

You can manage your preferences and make requests as follows:

  • In‑App Consent: for EEA/UK/CH users, choose personalized or non‑personalized ads via the consent dialog
  • Device Settings: reset the Advertising ID and toggle ad personalization in Android settings
  • Data Requests: contact us to submit GDPR/UK GDPR/CCPA/CPRA requests (see Section 14)

To exercise any rights related to AdMob data, use Google’s privacy tools or ads settings.
